Stormjy West Virginia Skies

Blown out of a bubble ring

Like grey cotton candy plumes

Silver lining from foreboding dark

Crystalized heaven from ash

Like a water filled plastic bag

Waiting for a kid to shoot it

But for now, tiny drops fall

A child’s tear droplet on the parched grass

Then the winds came

The grey separated

Cotton balls against the dark sky
