What you are searching for, what you found

They say seek and you will find

So you go seeking

And you find something

But still you do not understand what you have found

You can ask yourself, what is it?

Based on what you thought you were looking for

But all the things you thought you were looking for

Really does not mean anything in that space and time’

And then you realize that what you were searching for

Was simple existence

Because simple existence is peaceful

When you wash away all the man made expectations

Walk on Sunset

I want to walk on golden water, across the gentle waters. Walk by the contours of the land, where the coconut trees stand tall against the orange sky. Set my nature’s built in compass out to sea, guarded by the dolphins gliding along around me. Walk until the land is a  memory faded in past moments, stand before the sun, a mere man, at the end of civilization, give homage to the evolution of time and space.

Space and Time

Where there is space, time is ticking away

Slow like cotton in a gently gust

Sometimes stagnant like a puddle in a pothole

Sometimes winding, a surprise around each space

Space makes room for no man

And no man can truly control space

Time Always Win

When I was a boy, I wanted to be a man, wanted time to hurry up, give me the freedom I so richly deserve. I would watch the older lads, with their girlfriends and their late nights, and their liberty of choice. Then when I was in my twenties, I was running ahead of time, fancy free, strong, each moment felt like I had walking on the moon. I saw everything, felt everything, tasted everything. Then I was in my thirties, and the win was in my face, and time the great predator gathers itself and the race intensified, I heard time’s footsteps at my heel. In my forties, time caught up with me, looked over and smiled, and I heard a whisper, “It takes endurance.”  They say time waits on no one, but I see it, at the finish line, waiting for me, as I will my moments to slow down, trying to taste everything, to feel everything, to see everything, trying to keep time’s impatience at bay.

Good Marning me Neighbours

Good Marning me Neighbours

If you think life is short, then simmer down, take it easy, enjoy every moment. That is the best way to get time to work in your favour.

Sun on Earth

Sun on Earth

What if time stops, stopping the people, but they kept on living, and sooner or later, they forgot what time it was, what time it is, or what time it will be, and they had to start with a blank page, so all around them, the world looked like the sun had exploded, covering the earth yellow, and everywhere you went, you leave yellow footprints, walking away, leaving a little sunshine behind.

When Time Falls

When Time Falls

When the leaves cover the sidewalk, and floats down onto the benches, and onto the hoods and roofs of cars, and everywhere the world is covered with brighter earth tones that shifts with the wind, the cool wind that tickle your skin as the air grows colder by the hour. And you tremble a little, and sniffs the cool air, you realize it is the beginning of the season when time falls.

In The Midst of

In The Midst of

That time of day, when the sun is almost down, and the night is fast approaching, and the world is a beautiful grey, with shadows high stepping across the over the waves, as the noise of the day fades into the dark. That time of the day, when mother nature seems indecisive, that is the most peaceful suspension of time.

No Friend of Mine

Sleep does not want to be my friend tonight.

It hovers over me like a cloud

It tickles my skin like gentle raindrops

It haunts me like a silent prayer

And time slowly goes by in the dark

And dreams are left suspended

Like love before valentine’s day

Like death right before birth

Anticipation unsatisfied
